Getting There

Detailed instructions to getting to Junaluska via car, plane, bus or Amtrak can be found here.

The closest airport is Asheville Regional Airport (AVL). Airport shuttle must be in advance. $25 one way; $50 round trip. This is to either Asheville, NC or Greenville, SC.

Need a shuttle from the airport to/from Lake Junaluska?  Your flights must follow the below schedule:
  • Flying through Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport (GSP):

    • Sunday – arrive no later than 3:00pm

    • Thursday – depart after 11:30am

  • Flying through Asheville Regional Airport (AVL):
    • Sunday – arrive no later than 3:30pm

    • Thursday – depart after 11:00am

  • Airport shuttles must be reserved in August/September (we will send you the information to do so). $25 one way; $50 round trip

Lodging at Lake Junaluska

“Lake Junaluska provides a variety of lodging options in order to meet different budget points. Lodging is available in hotel style rooms at The Terrace and Lambeth Inn, motel style rooms in Hillside Lodge, and dormitory style rooms at Mountainview Lodge.  To be considered a “Resident” (a participant staying in one of the onsite lodging options (Terrace, Lambuth, Hillside, Mountainview, Apartments)) – you must make your lodging reservation when you register with us, NOT through Lake Junaluska. 


Meal Plans are $151/ person and cover meals throughout the event (except Tuesday night). Those can be purchsed on our registration page.

Childcare is available for young children (0-3) for only $100. Please sign up when you register.
